As image-bearers of God, we were created to worship. God placed man on Earth to give thanks, praise, and glorify his Creator. The Christian, who has a restored and reconciled relationship with God, is able to do accomplish this priestly task through Jesus Christ. We invite you to come join us at Shoreline and be part of this amazing celebration of singing praises, prayer, and the teaching of God’s Word. There is no dress code so please come as you are, we welcome all.
There is currently no Wednesday night prayer meeting. We have transitioned into community groups.
If there is any way we can pray for you please do not hesitate to contact us through email. We want to pray for you because you matter to us.
Currently, there is no Next Generation ministry at this time, as we have relocated to a new address. We will keep you posted when this ministry kicks off again.

Small groups meet through the week at various places. Discipleship is one of our main goals at Shoreline because Jesus gave us a mandate to make disciples. (Matt 28) If you are interested in meeting to talk with someone or even join a group, please call the church office.
WHAT IS BIBLICAL COUNSELING?
A DEFINITION OF BIBLICAL COUNSELINGBiblical Counseling simply stated is Discipleship in and through the all-sufficient word of
God to address a specific issue or issues in a person’s life. Consistent with Matthew 18:15-18and Galatians 6:1-3 we believe it is the responsibility of individuals to come along side ofthose in the body of Christ who are struggling with sin in in their own lives or as onesuffering under the weight of sin in their lives such as death of a loved one, abuse, infidelityof a mate, etc.THE CONCEPT OF BIBLICAL COUNSELINGAs biblical counselors we are committed to the position that Scripture is the onlyauthoritative source for what we are to believe and how we are to live (2 Timothy 3: 16-17).The biblical counselor is trained in the use of Scripture and the principles of biblicalcounseling. We do not base our counsel on man’s wisdom, opinions, experience, or conceptsof behavior, (Isaiah 55:8-11) but seek to bring the full range of biblical truth to focus on thecounselee’s need (Hebrews 4:12).ELEMENTS OF BIBLICAL COUNSELINGA biblical counselor will use all of his or her skill in applying biblical principles to enable thecounselee to glorify God in his/her life and to enable him/her to gain victory over theproblems that are depriving the individual of the peace and joy that God has promised toevery believer in His Word. Your counselor will concentrate in three areas that are necessaryfor biblical change to take place.HOPE // In Jesus Christ we have a great High Priest who has suffered and beentempted in all things, yet He never sinned. Because of Christ, even though one maybe facing every sin common to man, he/she can have victory. God has promised thatHe will not let his child be tempted beyond their endurance and that He will provide away for them to have victory in the midst of their temptation. (1 Cor 10:13; 2 Cor.12:7-10; Heb. 4:14-16).CHANGE // In Christ we can learn how to lay aside the old selfish ways of livingand put on the new ways of living in a manner worthy of the Lord Jesus Christ. Wecan learn to please God in every area of our lives. We can learn to live a godly lifeand to live in such a way that we will be increasing in our knowledge of God and ourability to relate to others. Biblical counseling will enable the believer to makepractical changes. (Eph. 4:20-24; Col.1:10).PRACTICE // We need to prove ourselves to be doers of God’s Word and notmerely hearers of the Word. Only in the actual practice of the Scriptures will we beblessed in what we do, and only then will we please the Lord (John 13:17, 14:21;James 1:22-25).LOCAL CHURCH INVOLVEMENTThe Lord has provided the local church as the discipleship center (Hebrews 10:24, 25).Therefore, it is important that counseling sessions be accompanied by church attendance, participation in a group bible study, Sunday Small Group and/or other discipleship activitiesin the local church. Your counselor may contact the home church and request their assistancein involvement in these activities. A pastor, elder or deacon may even become part of thecounseling team, to provide the most effectual help for the counselee. It is our commitment todo what will best bring about victory over your problems.
